Help Warn Others - before they are ripped off

If you feel like you have been ripped off by The Stock Market College, my condolences. Hopefully you have been able to get your money back.

That said, please don't let someone else make the same mistakes we made by trusting a pushy sales person! You can help by linking to this page from your Facebook account, other social networking account or even your personal website or other blog.

While this site used to feature quite prominently on Google - it's been a while since more comments have been posted. The result is that it's become a bit lost in the search engines.

While others do need to make up their own minds about whether they really do want to do business with an organisation like The Stock Market College - it's much better if they have access to all the information before making a purchasing decision. Hopefully more links back to this site will push its Google rank and show up on the first page fro those typing "Stock Market College" ;)

Warning, odds are you will regret giving your credit card to anyone representing this company: http://www.stockmarketcollege.co.za/ - some openly accuse Hardus van Pletsen and his team of fraud, theft or simply point out gross misconduct or unethical behaviour. Of course the choise is yours - just please read about the experiences of others before deciding to purchase their "education course".

First they did not deduct monthly instalment from my account as per usual, with no valid reason, they have now blacklisted me for their failure to deduct money which was available. Don't make the mistake of signing their ridiculous contract because I now lost my job and they don't even negotiate but they just want to take my assets and sell to recover their money.I tried to cancel the agreement previously as I was clearly not benefitting from SMC services, I was told I cannot cancel the contract. People are lured into the scam by being misled that they would be making money trading. What's worse you will pay the useless instalments and end up losing all of your money trading. I lost a whopping R400,00 within a month of trading, plus paying a stock broker, in addition to the expensive software well over R20 000,00 (2013 price). Yes people are aware that they are buying the software for that much when they sign but unfortunately not aware that they just flushing their money down the toilet.

i have to disagree. i have never made so much money in my life. you must actually participate in the training on how to trade, then maybe you'll see results. the purpose of the stock market college is the "COLLEGE" part. you get taught how to trade and the price is for the services rendered by SMC staff and not the brokers that manage your portfolio. at the end of the day you are the only one in control of your own money and you make the buying and selling decisions using the knowledge gained from the college. being an active investor makes the world of a difference when it comes the actual returns you receive from your profits made. Brokerage fees are all more or less the same percentage regardless of what company you use to trade trough, but not having a broker trade for you from most big name investors out there, means you'll only be seeing approximately 5%-13% of the 25%-150% profits that's actually being made with your initial capital invested.

I don't know what's the biggest scam, the fact that they sell the software (R80 CD and papers and pan) for about R17000 or the fact that they pose as a "Collage" which doesn't really teach you how to make profit .. I joined SMC back in 2015, took the software on credit (hoping I would make money from trading and see the software paying itself) well I always keep track of things or people I owe now according to my Spreadsheet I now owe them R4965, yesterday 14-07-2017 I called them to find out my settlement amount, I was shocked 😳 to hear that I still owe R15000 and how coz I've been paying R1331 for 20 months = R26 620 I mean how much was the software in the 1st place?

They told me about interests and admin fees (so what's the other R249 the debit every month) ...mind you I haven't been receiving any statements all this time 😳.. so I asked for my statement and the contract that I signed, well needless to say that I've been waiting

What should I do now? How can I get my money back?

I wish I saw this information before I signed their contract, It's sad really that we have to pay for something that they lie about when telling you about, I was told within 3 months I would have paid back the load from the money I will be making from the trading and I was even told that there will be someone trading on my behalf because I told them I will not be able to attend the classes because of work... little did I now... I just hope this will help someone, every time they debit my account 1316 and 249 I shed a tear... If anyone is thinking of joining PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM.

People, please listen very careful.
What the agents of Stock market collage does, is they are misleading people.
They will tell you wonderful.
They will tell you: You are going to make R10,000 every month from your R5000 account.
And that with our trade ideas, from our stock brokers at Quicktrade.
We are 85% of the time correct on our trades.
If you make a loan to buy into this business, you will pay of your loan within 3 months.Very easy.
LISTEN LISTEN LISTEN.IT IS NOT TRUE.
I gave them almost 5 months time.85% of the time there trade ideas are wrong.
I lost 60% of my account over 3 months.
DO NOT JOIN THESE PEOPLE.
There are loads of people complaining over the same thing.
And then they will tell you, oo you were unlucky, put more money in your account.
Then you just loose that also.
They don't care, because they get all the broker fees if you loose or make money.
DO NOT FALL FOR THESE AGENTS OF TELLING YOU YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE SO MUSH MONEY.

I PROMISE YOU KNOW.

Be aware people, please don't even consider being part of SMC. All empty promises from their consultants, promising you will make money. Consultant making you sign for something that is not true, 2 days after signing I informed them, I have received a retrenchment letter even send it to them, they still proceeded with a loan on my name knowing off my retrenchement...now treathenint to blacklist me if I dont pay. Please don't deal with these people..
